This policy applies to personal information collected by this website (www.markpearsonartist.com) and Pearson Art Limited.

You do not have to give us any personal information in order to use most of this website, and we will never sell the data you provide to us to any third party. However, if you wish to register on this website, subscribe to a service, or request further information, we may collect the following personal information from you: name and email address.

How we collect your data

Contact Form or Email
When you fill in our contact form, or send us an email, then you provide us with your name and email address. We require this information in order  to respond to you, but will not store your information for any other purpose unless you request to join our mailing list.

Contact via Social Media
When you contact us through social media platforms (facebook, twitter, instagram), then we have access to your username. We do not store this information and will only use this to respond to your enquiry.

Mailing List
When you sign up to our mailing list (either through signing our book at exhibitions, on the website or via a connected service such as Facebook) then you provide us with your name and email address.

We use Mailchimp as our marketing automation platform. By joining our mailing list you acknowledge that the information you provide will be added/transferred to Mailchimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy and Terms.

Once you complete the sign up form, you will be sent a confirmation link via email, which must be clicked to confirm your subscription to the mailing list.

Purchasing Items
When you purchase items from our online shop, we hold on file your contact details (name, address, email) but this is used purely for us to be able to ship your purchases to you.

We may also need contact you in regards to a purchase you have made, but you will not be added to our mailing list nor will your details be given to any third parties. If you would like to join our mailing list, then please do so by completing the subscription box on our website. Please note that we may send you offers within your purchase package, but we will not send you any promotions separately unless we have been given your consent.

Please note that your payment details are not stored by Pearson Art Limited. Instead when you complete your purchase, you are directed to the PayPal website or payment portal where these card details are taken and stored securely. Please visit their websites for details of how this data is stored.

You can be assured that Pearson Art Limited (Mark Pearson Artist & Peckham Art School) will not sell/give your data to any third parties, and will only contact you with regards to our latest news and events.

Opting out of our Mailing List
You can opt out of our email mailing list at any time by sending your request to us at pearson.nic@gmail.com. or by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of our communication emails.​

Once you unsubscribe from our mailing list, all your details (name, email address) will be removed from our stored database during our regularly clean up checks, however, if you want to be removed completely immediately, please contact us direct.

Right to be forgotten
You have the right to request details of the data we hold on you. We will endeavour to provide this information as soon as possible (within 30 days). You also have the right ‘to be forgotten’ so you can request for all data we hold on you to be deleted completely. ​

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
